Summary:

We are seeking a talented and driven Application Engineer to join our Kansas City area team.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide customized controls solutions for our customers through supporting our existing sales staff for technical projects.
  • Be an owner of electrification technology and projects at IFP.
  • Build relationships with our mobile/off-highway customers through consultative selling of high tech electronic and hydraulic products and services.
  • Plan and perform customer sales calls, assess customer needs, prepare quotes, and manage projects through the entire engineering process.
  • Inform sales staff of available products and engineering capabilities so they can look out for new business opportunities.

As an Application Engineer, you will collaborate closely with our engineering and sales department to ensure the successful deployment and maintenance of our applications, meeting both client and internal requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with the team and customers.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred)
